Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a type of therapy that uses scientific principles of behavior and motivation to teach socially meaningful skills. ABA therapy utilizes one-on-one teaching and individualized programming to teach skills that will provide meaningful changes in a child and family’s life.

Crane Rehab Center offers comprehensive ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physical therapy services through our Therapeutic Interdisciplinary Language and Learning (TILL) programs. Our clinical staff work as a team to give collaborative care to address sensory, communication, behavior and motor needs in children who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

ABA Services at St Therese Academy

Crane proudly offers ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy in the school setting at St. Therese Academy, a private school in Metairie for children with exceptionalities and learning differences. ABA therapy is an evidence-based therapy for children with an ASD diagnosis. In the school, ABA focuses on the application of appropriate skills in the naturalistic setting and increasing independence throughout a child's day. ABA therapy includes your child being seen one on one by a direct behavior technician with weekly oversight of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We aim to collaborate with your child's other therapies to ensure progress and consistency is implemented from all angles. Programming is designed for all ages in the school setting and is based on your child's needs.

You are completing the following form to add your child to the ABA waitlist to receive school services at St. Therese Academy which means your child is currently a student or a prospective student. Students at any age with an ASD diagnosis are eligible to receive ABA services. Skills targeted in the school setting will focus on increasing the child's level of independence in and out of class.
