OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Crane Rehab’s occupational therapists work to help children develop the skills they need to independently navigate their world.
Evaluation – If you have concerns regarding your child’s development including impaired ability to play appropriately, poor handwriting development, difficulty with dressing themselves including managing buttons and zippers, poor ability to navigate a classroom or day care environment, or if your child has difficulty tolerating sensory input, you may benefit from an occupational therapy evaluation.
Treatment – Occupational therapy treatment may be recommended following an evaluation. Crane provides individual OT treatment sessions both in our clinic and in the community. We work with area private and parochial schools to provide occupational therapy on school campus. Please ask our Patient Care Coordinator about school therapy, including information regarding our availability at your child’s school.
